Special Projects: Core Libraries
For over twenty years, Carabiner has supported the WA Government in the design of drill core facilities, both in Perth and Kalgoorlie. This included both new facilities and upgrades.
Such as in 2015, when Carabiner designed the major expansion of Perth Core Library, Carlise (pictured right) effectively doubling the available storage space from 8,640 pallets to more than 15,000, while adding other significant improvements to the facility.
This unique and specialised expertise has led to the recent appointment of Peter Giangiulio (Director, Carabiner Architects), as expert design consultant for the design and construction of a modern core library facility in Gawhati, India.
